The views are great over Nelson. It is a lovely old house with great character.
No person on reception going in or out, have to find your own way about, no information in room about where things were or what you were allowed to use, eg, if you were allowed to make a cuppa in the kitchen. Really, it's just up to you to find things. Tiny amount of soap in the shared bathroom and couldn't find any more. The mouse on the computer sticks so badly that it's not worth the time involved.

The building and rooms here are really nice, and you get some awesome views. the location is amazing and convenient, and the facilities are kept clean. Plus, you're right by a hill that looks out over the area, and there's a cool trail up to the top 🌄.

Beautiful house
Lack of communication. On arrival no one at reception and no information that the kitchen was available to all, where the bathrooms were and details on going out in the evening and returning. The owners need to leave an information sheet on the reception or in the bedroom, there was only a book on the house, but one needs to know about the hotel info. Would probably go back now we know the 'system'.

I like Fellworth House the environment it provides. The host and staff there are very friendly and helpful. Old fashion classical house with great view of both reserve and beach. Nowhere else could provide such a enjoyable holiday to me. High recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel on the hillside. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the city center below. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel had a sense of history and charm, with its stately architecture and modern amenities. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and I appreciated the comfortable and quiet environment for a great night's sleep. The hotel also offered a delicious breakfast in the kitchen, allowing me to start my day off right. this place exceeded my expectations and provided a truly enjoyable experience.
I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Great house with fantastic views. Good public rooms e.g. TV lounge, kitchen / dining area, balconies to enjoy views. Large Victorian house in own grounds. Relaxed view of owner. Ability to make simple meals. A brilliant place to stay.
Perhaps on a longer stay would have found room too small, lack of storage but fine for 2 or 3 nights.
